Getting to know 3 Monkeys Cloth Diapers:

What got you started in selling items in your Etsy shop?  I had been selling on another website for over a year, then found Etsy and discovered a world I love being a part of!!  Etsy is such a great community :)  I love working with fellow craftsman and providing handmade items to customers both domestic and international.
What is one piece of advice you wish someone would have told you when you started cloth diapering?  Don't give up in the beginning.  The first 6 months is very time consuming and can be the breaking point for many mommas.  Find the perfect diaper for your babe and then go with that.
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not sewing/working for your shop?  I love my kiddos and I find great joy in just playing and reading with them.  I am a workaholic, so I have to keep myself in check so that I don't work my day away and skimp on baby time.
What is your current favorite item in your shop, and why? my diaper cakes.  There are many diaper cakes out there with disposables, but this is the only one I have found with AIOs and what momma could not love that???
What is your favorite material to work with? minkee, I had been resistant to try it, but once I did I can't get enough of it!!
How long has your shop been open? I have had my shop open for a little over a year, Jan. 2, 2009.
Personal bio: I have been sewing since I was 6 or 7 years old.  My mom taught me to make Barbie clothes and I have been making this and that ever since.  My cousin was the one who persuaded me to make diapers to sell after I gave her the first diapers I had made.  Now, I have a business that allows me to help the hubby with bills and still stay home with the best kids on earth!!
