Getting to know Winkydinks:

What got you started in selling items in your Etsy shop?  
    Peer pressure! My friend has a shop selling hairclips and introduced me to the site. Another friend convinced me to start selling my covers on a grander scale (I was selling them via Diaperswappers here and there).
What is one piece of advice you wish someone would have told you when you started cloth diapering?  
     To try prefolds, and to just jump in and try it (don't research so much!)
What is your favorite thing to do when you’re not sewing/working for your shop? 
     I love to scrapbook (although I'm very far behind now!)
What is your current favorite item in your shop, and why?  
     I love the tiny newborn items, like these longies. I think mostly because (sadly) I didn't start CD'ing until my kids were out of the newborn stage, and because I never got to buy pink things.
What is your favorite material to work with? 
     I love working with re-purposed wool - each piece is so different.
How long has your shop been open?  
     My shop has been open about a year and a half now!
Personal bio: 
     I have 2 boys (5 and 3) and am fortunate to be able to stay home with them. In my prior life I was an IT Systems Analyst, but now that we've "gone green" over the past few years, I think when I go back to work outside the home it will be to do something that helps the environment.  We live in Washington state and love the outdoors - we often play in the rain :) My husband is very supportive in whatever I do (although he steers clear of the office/sewing room/scrapbook room now because of the mess).
