Just 2 Cute Accessories: Featured Member and Giveaway!

Getting to know Just 2 Cute Accessories
What got you started in selling your items in your Etsy shop?
I have been a crafter since I was old enough to hold a needle and thread so when I discovered Etsy it just seemed like a perfect fit..

How did your shop name originate?
My shop name came from my over use of the phrase “that is just too cute” at a friend’s baby shower. I was naming my shop a few weeks later and I just couldn’t get it out of my head

What is one piece of advice you wish somebody had given you when you started cloth diapering?

I wish someone would have told me how easy it is! Before I started I had all the images of wet pails and pins. I love the all the options and the ability to customize each diaper change to the baby’s needs at the time.

What is your favorite thing to do when you're not sewing/working for your shop?

I enjoy hanging out with my family & friends, reading, bike riding, and taking care of our chickens.

What is your current favorite item in your shop and why?

Currently, I really like my “Live Laugh Love” soaker.

What is your favorite material to work with?

I love recycled wool! I love the constant variety and the hunt for new materials.

How long has your shop been open?

My shop has been open since May of 2010.

Celebrate Orange at Bundles of Joy

I'll admit, I am a big time fabric hoarder. I love shopping for beautiful printed velour, funky retro bath towels, and fabulous wool sweaters for repurposing. But I have a hard time cutting into them once I find them. If I use the fabric, then I won't have it anymore. I am trying to change my ways, and to give myself a jump-start, I dug through my stash for everything orange and cut it up to make some beautiful fluff.

Why orange? Because orange just seems so bright and happy for babies, so I love it. And when I find it, I tend to hang onto it because it's just so cool. But not anymore, it's all listed for sale in my shop. I have everything from vintage towels & repurposed wool to new bamboo fleece. So if you love orange like I do, come and take a look!

February theme, rodents!

Okay, this was a tough one, but surely someone could come up with a fuzzy little rodent to help us celebrate the month of February...and here it is! (Okay, we are stretching it) To clarify, a hedgehog is NOT a rodent, but we had to come up with something :)
