How did you get started making/selling on Etsy?
I started selling on Etsy on the recommendation of a friend. I was looking for an avenue to begin selling my cloth diapers and accessories.
How did you come up with your shop name?
My shop name came about literally. I do not have a craft/sewing room so every night I have to clean off the dining room table. All of my supplies get put back in the corner every evening. My husband commented on the crafty corner so Janes Crafty Corner was born!
What is your favorite thing to make?
I enjoy sewing in general. I have tried a few things that did not work out so well but they have led to other creations that I love to make. My latest creation is a Waterproof Absorbent Pad. I never liked the changing pad given in the diaper bags. I came up with a super soft, waterproof pad that can be used both at home and while out and about. I have also had people use them as puppy training pads and dog water bowl pads. Their uses are endless. I will be giving everyone the opportunity to win one of my absorbent pads with this giveaway.
It is not always easy to juggle sewing and completing orders and home life. The crock pot is my favorite kitchen helper. It makes many of my meals. I also have older children that help watch the younger ones for me. They are a huge help to me when I am in a time crunch to get something done.
Jane is offering one of her great waterproof changing pads as a giveaway to one lucky person.
The winner can choose the top fleece design of available fabrics. This waterproof absorbent pad features a waterproof PUL bottom, the middle layer is an absorbent layer of zorb and the top is a soft fleece pattern.
